I would have to say that my life definitely took a turn this summer. Nothing really significant happened, but I spent a lot of (much needed) time in solitude. I had the chance to heal mentally and emotionally from the chaos that was last school year.
I saw the person that I had become, and I remembered the person that I used to be. I got back to God and the basics. I matured a LOT in my beliefs and my outlook on life. I learned to have much more respect and appreciation for my parents. And I realized what I want out of life.
Needless to say, it was a very productive summer, as far as self-improvement goes. It wasn't a big revelation, and it definitely took more than one day, but it was significant turning point, no matter how gradual the turn was.
I am one happy girl because of it...
