My Favorite iPhone Apps

I've had my iPhone for a almost a year now, and I really do think it's one of the best things since sliced bread.

In this day and age, it is definitely a convenience having so many useful (and fun) applications on my phone. I am a victim of first world mentality in that I have to have everything (literally) at my fingertips.

But alas, this isn't an ad for the iPhone, as Apple is not paying me the big bucks to do such a thing.

This is a post about my favorite freaking fantastic iPhone apps. So without further ado...

1. My favorite photo editing apps:

Pretty much all of my iPhone photos get edited using one or both of these apps. I will usually open my pictures in Afterlight and edit them before uploading them to Instagram. And of course, I'm not the only one who LOVES the Beautiful Mess app from Elsie and Emma. It just got a few upgrades and I need to take some photos so I can try out the new features!

2. My favorite use-every-day apps:

I love the YouVersion Bible app. I use it in church, I use it in school, I use it for homework or personal Bible study. It's much easier to have on hand than carrying a traditional Bible everywhere, PLUS it has many different translations so I can switch to whichever one I want.
Swackett is another favorite of mine because it tells me the weather. But not only does it tell me the weather, it gives me the forecast for the week and with the new upgrades, it even tells me when sunrise and sunset are! Plus, in the daily weather, it has little characters that are dressed for whatever type of weather is expected that day. Who doesn't love a weather app that tells you what to wear?

3. My favorite fitness app:

Nike Training Club is probably one of the best apps I've ever found out about. I'm not particularly motivated to work out, and usually it's because I don't know where to start. That's why I love NTC. It gives you workouts for each target area, tells you how to do them, and counts for you as you're completing your reps. It may sound like it doesn't help much, but it does. I did the ab workout once and the next day my abs were sore. Bonus: it's free!

4. My favorite entertainment app:

I don't know about you guys, but I absolutely love Spotify! To me, it's great because I have pretty all of my favorite songs on my phone without having to purchase them all individually through iTunes. I also love Spotify because it's much easier to discover new music, and it's social. Now, sometimes the social part can be embarrassing. I mean, you could be jamming out to your favorite artist, and then you see your friend the next day and they confront you about how you listened to every track on the One Direction album.
Embarrassment aside, Spotify is probably my favorite app that I have on my phone besides all the boring ones like Gmail and banking apps.

What are your favorite iPhone apps? Or if you're an Android person, what are your favorite Android apps? I'd love to know!
