Wildflower Wears: International Style

Well, I don’t know about you guys, but I’m excited that we’ve made it to Wednesday already.

My 22nd birthday is on Monday and my mom is coming into to town this weekend to celebrate with me. I am so stoked!

Now on to cooler things! We have chapel every Tuesday and Thursday at my school and yesterday was international chapel. A band made up of Bible translators called Ishq came and led worship for us and we sang in over 10 different languages. It was a lot of fun!

Because it was international chapel, the Dean of Students emailed us all Monday and told us to wear clothing from other countries if we owned any. I don’t personally own any clothing from any other countries (though I plan on it soon!) but my super hot friends do!

Meet Beka and Allie! They are both missionaries in training and between them, they have been to almost every continent. The outfits they are wearing in this picture are from Nepal (Beka-on the left) and India (Allie- on the right). Allie is actually going back to India this summer for some missionary work and if you would like to learn more about that, head on over to her Facebook page.

Meet Shey and Jessica! Both of these lovely pals of mine have a heart for children and want to work with them after graduation. Shey (on the left) is wearing a dress that comes from Guinea in Africa, and Jessica (on the right) is wearing pants from Burkina Faso. Jessica spent last summer there doing missionary work.

There you have it, folks! My beautiful friends rocking their international fashion. Have any of you been out of the U.S.A? What countries have you been to? Are any of you from another country besides America? I’d love to hear from you.

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I leave you with one of my favorite songs, reminding us that we are all citizens of the World…
